Reolink camera

Set up a new Reolink camera without the Reolink app and show it in Apple Home: the helper gives it a password and your Wi-Fi, then shows its live video and pictures as a camera in Home.

Only for a camera fresh from the box, or one reset with its reset button. A camera that already has a password is left alone. Doing it again on a camera this set up only gives it the Wi-Fi again.

Name in Home Front Door, say. Leave it empty to use the camera's model. Wi-Fi name Wi-Fi password The camera's UID Needed for a battery camera, or any camera with no network socket. The UID is printed on the camera, usually under its QR code, after the letters UID: about 16 letters and digits. A new password for the camera 8 to 31 letters, numbers or symbols. The helper keeps it to show the camera in Home. Write it down too: the Reolink app asks for it.
